Basketball Divorce Court "Girlboss"
“Girlboss” is a post-punk masterpiece full of profanity, anger and dynamic vocals. A barrage of scratchy guitar strumming, slamming drums and thundering bass underpin a seething vocal performance delivered half in a deadpan speaking voice and half in a flurry of screams. River Sinclaire "Emu Planet"
“Emu Planet” is a unique track that prominently features fuzzy synthesizers/guitars and tiny electronic drums. The melodies are sung in several different tones all together in unison, adding texture and depth to the otherwise refreshingly minimal instrumental. “Emu Planet” has an infectiously melancholy, casual vibe to it. The song is River Sinclaire’s latest release.
TiAE "Fun Times"
“Fun Times” is a song that lives up to its name. A genuinely uplifting energy permeates the sound of this song, from the bouncing percussion to the glistening electric guitars “Fun Times” radiates nostalgia. The melodies are catchy and pop sensible. This is honestly the perfect summer jam. “Fun Times” is the first release from TiAE.
Curb Appeal "Gem in the Rough"
“Gem in the Rough” is a mid-tempo Pop/Punk banger. The instrumental features an iconic sounding guitar riff on the verses and a pretty major energy boost on the chorus with the introduction of an anthemic synthesizer lead. The vocals are full of conviction and the song features a pretty incredible bridge section/guitar solo on the back end.
Scrunchies "Parallel"
“Parallel” is a grungy, melodic rock track full of 80’s era screaming electric guitars. The song is loud and full of energy, yet harmonic and melodic. The drums are tight and hit hard. The vocals are charismatic and engaging. “Parallel” comes from Scrunchies latest album “Feral Coast.”
Walking Phoenix "Bum Dope"
“Bum Dope” is an alternative rock track that packs a major punch. The guitar tone is a major highlight of the instrumental here with some absurdly squashed fuzzy distortion in full force. The vocals are grungy with a subtle twang and well utilized vocal fry. The production here is packed with energy and gives the track a lot of power. “Bum Dope” is Walking Pheonix’s latest single release.
