Alina Maira "gin and smoke"
“Gin and Smoke” is a gorgeous indie electronic ballad. The instrumental is crisp and understated. Gentle drum samples and atmospheric vocal chops swirl through a volley of glistening guitars and synthesizers. Maira’s vocals are front and center here, perfectly carrying the track through its melancholy vibes. To hear more from Alina Maira check out the latest single “Reservoir.”
Beaut "Hopeless Hearts"
Synth pop band Beaut delivers a hypnotizing track full of syrupy sweet sounds and introspective melodies. Amidst a wash of fuzzy synths and faded drums Beaut’s lead vocals provide a grounding melody that grows slowly more and more catchy. This is a slow burn of a track that pays off in a big way. “Hopeless Heart” is the bands second single release this year.
Absinthe "Innocent"
“Innocent” is the first release from Absinthe, with overtones of post-punk, grunge and garage-rock. The song delivers catchy riffs and melodies full of attitude. The mixing is raw and minimal, giving the band an organic and original aesthetic. The ending of the track boosts the energy a few notches for an epic finale.
Liam Moore "Beeline"
“Beeline” is a mellow journey into the more pleasant side of indie music. Accompanied by a small brass section, Moore croons gently over soothing guitar chords, a tight drum kit and a perky bass line. The song can’t help but be cute and uplifting. Lots of incredible saxophone too, guaranteed to make you smile!
Red Eye Ruby "Burning Sunbeams"
“Burning Sunbeams” is a smooth retro roots-rock track from Red Eye Ruby. The song features thick guitar chords with a hint of country influence. The drums pack a subtle yet firm punch. The melodies are catchy and engaging. This is the bands second single release.
Ginny & The Fizz "Fem in Him"
“Fem in Him” is an accessible alt rock track with bouncy melodies and crunchy guitars. The song is jam packed with personality, particularly in the lead vocals. Full of heart, the singing is forward and confident. “Fem in Him” is a more upbeat and lighter take on the alt rock genre. This is the bands second single release as Ginny & The Fizz.
