Melodic Noise Meida's Five Year Anniversary and Benefit for She Rock She Rock

Walking into the ballroom I was captivated by the lights that glowed bright behind the stage, Eagles #34 was such a cozy and inviting venue. This was the Melodic Noise Media benefit show for the She Rock She Rock organization. She Rock She Rock empowers women, girls, non-binary and trans individuals through the power of art and music. The benefit show raised $457 for this great organization. It was heart warming to see the community come together to support this amazing organization.

Bob Mould, Homecoming (Kinda) Cedar and Turf Club, October 2023

You wouldn’t know Bob Mould was playing a solo electric set. There was just this massive wall of sound coming at the audience. It was so on-point and direct. He was a one-man wrecking machine. Super engaging with the audience, gracious and funny. The Turf Club is just a stone’s throw down the street from a music store (now a hair salon) where Husker Du started out—playing in the basement after the store closed for the night. And a little south is Macalester College, where a young Bob Mould went to college.

Nobody Fights It Alone. Rob Tossava Benefit, Minneapolis Uptown VFW 09/17/2023

Rob Tossava is a local legend in the Minnesota Punk Rock Scene. Incredibly nice guy. He’s also fighting the Big-C. So, on September 17th, 2023, bands and local musicians came together to raise money for Rob’s struggles and show their support to one of the biggest music fans there is.
