Top songs on the Minnesota Sound playlist.

Heidi Pack "Cowgirl"
“Cowgirl” is a downtempo country rock track with a huge sound. The whole thing sounds like it’s being played in a stadium, with plenty of reverb to give the song its larger than life feel. The instrumental features some great slide guitar, and consistent, chugging chords. The drums are simple but provide much of the atmosphere on the track. On top of it all are Heidi’s smokey vocals, leading the track. To hear more from Heidi Pack check out the new single “Crush.”

Timisarocker "Meaning of Life"
“Meaning of Life” is a prog rock track full of creativity and life. The song features heady electric guitar riffs, drums and prominent slap bass. The lyrics are direct and honest, adding a compelling element of intrigue. The song weaves through a multitude of instrumental sections, expanding and contracting between tight groves and epic breakdowns. To hear more from Timisarocker, check out the album “Up Next.”

Lucid VanGuard, Dusty Forever "Ride"
“Ride” is an indie pop track with slide guitar and thumping drums. The vocals are front and center, delivered in a relaxed tone and catchy. The instrumental has a nice, bouncing bass line at the center and fun synthesizer lines sprinkled here and there for good measure. The hook of this song is infectious and endearing. To hear more from Lucid VanGuard check out the single “Angelina.”

T-boe "Fvck the devil"
“Fvck the Devil” opens with a sleepy set of chords. The track picks up with some tight hip-hop drums and deep bass lines. The song is packed tightly with raps from T-boe, only breaking long enough to make space for an unexpectedly catchy hook. This song is the most recent single by T-boe. To hear more check out “How Life Goes.”

Little Man "Heartburst"
“Heartburst” is a wonderful combo of sounds from genres like garage rock and psychedelic. The song prominently features extremely fuzzy guitars, drums, bass and synthesizers. The highlight of the track are these little guitar licks that pierce through the instrumental like rays of gold. The vocals are great too, full of energy and a perfect accent to the instrumental. To hear more from Little Man check out “Body to Body.”

Dark Bunny "False Alarm"
“False Alarm” is a track with a hazy, dreamy sound. The song is awash in this relaxing atmosphere of reverb. The guitar lines are super soothing and the drums are gently plodding away at the bottom end of the mix. The vocals soar above the instrumental with a sleepy melody that is engaging and perfect for the track. This track comes from the band's self titled album “Dark Bunny.”
