“Respect” is a catchy, heavy pop-punk track. The instrumental is dark and gritty, with strong vocals and heavy melodic guitars. The production is spot on, featuring hard hitting drums that carry the song effortlessly. To hear more from Heart to Gold check out their 2018 album “Comp.”

Loki's Folly "Appease the Girl”

“Appease the Girl” is a frenetic punk track with squeaky guitars, shrill vocals and a healthy amount of chaotic noise. The energy of this song is wild. The abrasive aesthetic of the song is cohesive engaging, and extremely well played. “Appease the Girl” is Loki’s Folly’s first single released this year.

Once More, Autumn "Fragments (I)”

“Fragments (I)” is a somber indie folk track with a lot of heart. The instrumental is carried by a droning acoustic guitar, which leads into a cinematic climax towards the end of the track as the productions slowly builds to a euphoric crescendo. The vocals are poetic and heartbreaking, highlighting the slow tempo of the track. “Fragments (I)” comes from Once More, Autumn’s first EP “Love Is a Sea.”

Dee Bomb "Circus"

“Circus” features tight, hard hitting hip-hop drums, a bouncy synth bass track and dreamy guitar chords. The instrumental plays perfectly with Bomb’s lyricism, dipping out to highlight punchlines and ramping up the energy for head-bopping hooks. The down-pitched refrain is incredibly catchy and energizing. This song comes from Dee Bomb’s 2020 album “The Progress Album.”

Rot "Government Issued Noose"

This song is a politically charged hardcore single with thundering drums, dark guitars and powerful screams. The track features several well-placed breakdowns, a variety of tempos, screaming registers, and a good mix of melodic and rhythmic elements. The song conveys an incredible amount of conviction and anger with powerful lines like “The department of justice doesn’t want justice, it wants you dead.” To hear more from Rot check out the 2020 album “…As One.”

Michael Lane "Where'd You Go?"

“Where’d You Go?” Is a Singer-Songwriter track with subtle electronic production and pop sensibilities. Michael Lane delivers a heartfelt performance over a simple, acoustic guitar driven beat.
