BURIED ANIMALS / FINESSE - HALLOWEEN NIGHT AT MORTIMER'S

On Halloween we sent our photographer Jack Buckholz to Mortimer’s to cover their awesome show. Featuring Finesse, Buried Animals, and DJ Click Bait, the show was full of excellent tunes all night.

“Simon Calder, he does the “Back To The Cities” interview series, it’s on MCN6- he set the show up, and we got hooked up with Finesse, who seem to be kindred spirits in terms of sound. We’re like “Let’s do a spooky-ass show!” Lusurfer dropped-out due to a hernia that the drummer had induced, which is terrible. But the show must go on. Luckily we have [Click Bait] throwing down, so they can just keep it going all night and in between… I also appreciate that it’s not all just all new wave all night… I love that shit, but THIS makes me feel so much better before a show, ya know?" -Buried Animals, Nigel Highlands
