SONIC SEA TURTLES "BODIES" MUSIC VIDEO

May 22, 2020 by Andrew Perrizo in Video Premiere

We are all experiencing isolation to at least some extent right now; from our friends, our families, and our communities. Sonic Sea Turtles put out a request to their fans to create images of isolation and then took the images and turned them into the music video for “Bodies.” “Bodies” is a somber song, and it’s made even more so by the loneliness felt in the visuals, but it’s important to remember that while we might be separated physically, we are not alone.

“Bodies is about over-loving somebody and realizing too much focus can lead to a relationship wearing out. The song battles with the idea of just being cynical or rather if something truly isn't working. The song has quite a downbeat and somber tone of isolation which relates to our current state as people right now, which is why we asked our fans to create art based around the theme. Everybody's mind is different and we wanted to show how uniquely everybody processes this all.” - Sonic Sea Turtles
