SOLANA "JUST KNOW" VIDEO PREMIERE
Alt-R&B artist SOLANA had dance on his mind when writing the song “Just Know,” and carried it all the way through his fantastic video for the song, which stars the talented University of Minnesota Dance Collective. “Just Know” is the fourth video SOLANA has done featuring the U of M Dance Collective. In the black and white music video the student dancers take center stage, and other than a few camera effects and edits, it’s almost all choreography. The song lends itself to the emotive style of dancing on display with references an ambiguous romantic relationship, and the dancers interpret that story and add an extra layer of sass and flair to the mix. “This song was originally created poolside at The Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas. I was trying to capture something that had some bounce to it. Immediately after I was listening to the beat up in my hotel room and knew I wanted to recruit the dancers I had worked with before to come and shoot another video that would become ( Just Know ).” - Alex, SOLANA
