Reed Benjamin channels his inner Santa in his newest video. With a oven full of cookies and a bag full of swag, Reed and his Santa counterpart infiltrate and get buck in the kitchen. Whilst dropping a whole bunch of Holiday references, he also hints at some new releases. Get in Reeds bag and get into the holiday spirit with this bop of a Christmas Song.

“Santa Claus was written on a whim Christmas Eve Eve of 2019. I always wanted to do a holiday song, but I often find holiday rap songs very corny and too "on the nose". The song was made to be a fun, catchy record that was specifically Christmas themed but could still be enjoyed any time of year. Taking some elements of current rap songs, I basically turned the song into one giant metaphor, using Santa themes as punchlines for regular, cocky rap. Though released in 2019, my team and I felt that due to the heaviness of this year both personally and generally, with holidays specifically being affected by Covid, we wanted to give people something fun and light-hearted to end the year with, and the video for Santa Claus was born.
Fun fact, Santa Claus is played by notorious local hip-hop blogger and radio personality Derek Ehlert of the former Breaks x Lakes.” - Reed Benjamin
