“I would say a big reason why this show's attendance meant a lot was because the entirety of Rigby are past students of mine when I was a music teacher. I always tried to push them to start a band & became super proud to see that they were gigging. It was also cool because Maude (bassist/singer/birthday girl) had reached out to me saying she wanted to throw a show for her birthday & wanted me to help, and I was immediately into it. Younger people deserve access to cool punk rock shows as much as the 20 somethings do, and this show proved that people will show up to all ages shows. Even seeing teenagers dancing to Kitten Forever songs I went crazy over when I was their age made me tear up a little bit hahah" - Danielle, Scrunchies
