Witnessing Mae Simpson and her band live has been on my bucket list for a while. Their debut full length Chandelier & Bloom is a killer album showcasing their musicianship, chemistry, and endless positive vibes. That feeling only multiplied when I saw them rock the stage of the Fine Line for their packed release show, and I now cannot wait to catch them live again.
I recently had the opportunity to spend some time with Simpson and talk about everything from her journey and making this album to what the future looks like. She’s one of the most to-the-point artists I’ve ever talked to, and I cannot wait for our next chat. I hope you enjoy.
