Allergen is an indie rock band from Minneapolis, fronted by Shannon Maroney. Originally intended as a solo project, Maroney has since added Eve Speers on guitar, Nick Flanders on bass, and Anna Shenehon on drums. Allergen mixes crunchy riffs, powerful vocals, and emotional lyrics, and as described by local music blog Ear Coffee, “feels like a private conversation being broadcast to the world.
